Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor-Joy was born April 16 1997 in Miami Florida. Half English and half Spanish She is the child of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. The daughter is an Argentinean who has Scottish, English and Argentinean heritage. Her mother is of Spanish as well as English heritage. Four of her siblings belong to her father's former marriage. Buenos Aires was her home up until she was six years old, and the family relocated into Victoria in London. Taylor-Joy claims that the move to London was traumatic and that she didn't study English in order to prevent returning to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she had to attend after switching from Northlands. In the following year, she joined Queen's Gate School to study ballet and act in school productions. At 16, she left school in order to explore acting as a profession. At a very young age, Taylor-Joy was aware of her desire to work as an actress. her goals were realized when she was given the opportunity to model Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
