Alison Krauss is one of the most well-known and successful Country Singer who was born on July 23 1971 in the state of Decatur, Illinois in the United States. LeAnne Kymes is also among the two youngest Grammy Award recipients. Alison Maria Krauss was born in July of 1971. Alison is an American bluegrass singer and country musician. Her age was just teen when she first entered the music scene and was a winner of local contests at the age of 10 old and recording her first album at the age of 14 years. In 1985 she was signed by Rounder Records. Her first solo album debuted in 1987. The album was also a part of the group Alison Krauss Union Station where she is still performing. Later, in 1989 her first solo album debuted together with them.
