Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born on March 14, 1997, in Columbus Ohio U.S.A.) American Gymnast is considered to be one of the sport's best athletes. The 2016 Olympics took place in Rio de Janeiro and Biles was one of the U.S.'s only female gymnast to be awarded four gold medals. She also won the title of world champion for all-around 3 times in succession (2013-15). Biles is from Spring Texas. Her grandparents Ronald Biles (and her sister Adria) adopted them. They grew in the Houston metropolitan area. Simone was interested in gymnastics when she was just six in a day-care field excursion to Bannon's Gymnastix and stayed there for 11 years, under supervision of coach Aimee Boorman. Biles had a great time in the vault and floor exercises at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships before moving up to the highest level of competition in 2011. Within less than two years, she became the best in her sport. Biles's consistency, her exuberant character and her high level of difficulty in her four events -- vault uneven bars balance beam floor exercise and floor exercise -- set her out from the rest of the athletes.
