Harry Edward Styles - also known as Harry Styles - is a British musician as well as a composer. Harry Styles has been credited as composing songs in the One Direction band. He was born in Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England, on the 1st of February, 1994. He is the son of Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles went to the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive, along with three of his classmates, formed a music group dubbed White Eskimo. The group was part of the Battle of Bands where thanks to their impressive performances they were winners. Although he has always been attracted to music, he was also interested in becoming an attorney or physical therapist. While working in the city's bakery, Harry Styles was able to support his family. Harry Styles, in 2010 was a contestant on The X Factor. His song Is not She Lovely was and was performed by Stevie Wonder. The reason for this was that his band broke up. Nicole Scherzinger, the jury member of The X Factor suggested Harry Styles to join the band One Direction with Liam Payne Zayn Mlik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of the group that formed in 2010. The group was backed by Cowell, and they sang Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Suck without You as well Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart. The group was among the top contenders in the contest. They were in third place behind Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle which were the winners. Harry Styles was not the winner, but Cowell had paid 2,000,000 pounds under a contract with One Direction.
