Allison Janney

AllisonAllison Brooks Janney, born on the 19th November in 1959 [2] in America is an American actor. She is well-known for her work across various kinds of genres, both on screen and stage throughout her three decades of career. Janney has been nominated for two Tony Awards and has been awarded the Academy Award as well as a British Academy Film Award. She was born in Boston and raised in Dayton, Ohio, Janney got a scholarship for studying in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art after the completion of her studies at Kenyon College. Janney made her television debut in 1999, playing C. J. Cregg who played the character in the political drama of NBC The West Wing (2000-2006). She was awarded the award for four Primetime Emmy Awards for this character. Because of her character Margaret Scully, a Showtime actress in the period drama Masters of Sex, Janney received this year's Primetime Emmy Award as Outstanding Guest Actress In a Drama Series. The character she played was Bonnie Plunkett
